New Talent Strengthens Sparling's Technology Practice

July 22, 2014 - Sparling added two key players to its technology design and consulting service line in Washington and California--Marcus Preuss, Wireless Consultant in Lynnwood, Wash. office, and Mike Lopez, Technology Project Manager in San Diego, Calif. office.

Marcus Preuss specializes in distributed wireless and wired communications. He brings extensive experience with specialized radio programming software and hardware to Sparling's wireless team. His expertise adds to the wireless team's bench strength in supporting highly complex wireless system implementations for numerous public safety agencies, municipalities, and first responders. Currently Preuss is working on Pierce County 700MHz Public Safety Radio System, Alderwood Mall Distributed Antenna System, and Lincoln Square Distributed Antenna System.

Mike Lopez has 33 years of experience in the information technology world, with 24 of those working directly for Franciscan Health/Catholic Health Initiatives as a technical lead, project manager, analyst, and technician for their telecommunications infrastructure and systems. Having Lopez on board increases Sparling's ability to understand healthcare projects from an owner's point of view and establishes bridges between technology design services and an organization's strategic planning, construction management, project management, property management, and clinical staff. Currently Lopez is working on projects at Sacramento Behavioral Health, Riverside Community Regional Medical Center, Hoag Hospital Irvine, UCSD Jacobs Medical Center, and Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Sparling's mission is to enrich our world through the power of design. Providing unsurpassed technology design for our clients is a key component in realizing that goal.
